Crock-Pot Cranberry Cobbler

This quick and easy Crock-Pot Cranberry Cobbler recipe is a snap to toss together and let cook away in your slow
cooker while you are busy doing other things.

Ingredients


Fruit

cranberries   6 Cups fresh or frozen cranberries (fresh was on sale this week)

sugar  1 1/2 Cup granulated sugar (I use Turbinado)

2 Tablespoons corn starch (I substitute tapioca starch)

1 cup walnuts or pecans

Cobbler Topping


3 Cups All-purpose flour

3/4 Cup granulated sugar

1/2 Cup Butter, melted

1 Cup milk

1 teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

Instructions

In the bottom of a 4 – 6 quart crock-pot pour the berries, sugar and cornstarch and toss
lightly to coat the berries with the sugar and cornstarch.

dry ingredients1.  In a medium bowl mix the cobbler ingredients – flour, sugar, melted butter, milk, baking powder
and pinch of salt until a soft dough forms.

dough2.  Dot the top of the fruit in the slow cooker with spoonfuls of cobbler dough, making sure to keep
the dough off the side of the crock. If you have extra berries just spread them across the top of the dough.

3.  Cover and cook on HIGH (much better results on high) for 4 hours or until the fruit is bubbly and the dough is is cooked
through.

4.  Serve plain, with ice cream or whipped 5. cream and enjoy!
