Too Heavenly minded to be any earthly good?
I have heard this quote from many well meaning church leaders. It is really a bad way of saying “we love the fact that your heart and mind are on God, but what we need at this moment is accomplishing the task that is at hand”.

progressive thought
The overall or cumulative thought process of the progressive, is that we are all born with specific traits/DNA that ingrains evil, good, straight, gay, killer, pacifist, pedophile, atheist, Christian, etc etc, into our very being that cannot be overcome or denied. This is a common argument for most of these personality types they want everyone to be in acceptance of. As usual this is a double minded thought process from the people that scream personal choice, the fact we rule our own bodies and all that is in them. They have tried, unsuccessfully, to prove this through science. Then they tried to redefine themselves to become more palatable to the general public, at the same time tolerance is the new buzz word. Boehner’s comment is illustrative of how well past time it is to adjust our mythologies to reflect our realities. Cruz’s failures of reason, compassion, decency, and humanity are products of his Christian pandering, if not an actual Christian faith. It grows tedious when pedophile priests and loathsome politicians are conveniently dismissed as Satanic, even as they spew biblical verse and prostrate themselves before the cross, recruiting the Christian faithful. Satanists will have nothing to do with any of them. Continue reading Infallible Word of God (Day 4)
